Barbara and I are part of a group of fellow church members who get together monthly to have dinner, and get to know more about each other. They are known as Dinners for Eight" and the membership is arranged by a lady in our church with an eye to creating zesty new groups and thereby facilitating fellowship among and between folks who might not see each other outside church events.

Currently, we are part of a group named McHENS. Derivation, the surnames of each family in the group. McFadyen, Harris, Ericksen, & Noden. Not the most inspired but useful as a shorthand identity tool. We had our first dinner last evening at the Ericksen's house and a good time was had by all. See pictures.
